Symphony Brownies

Your favorite brownie recipe to make a 9x13" pan(I used a Betty Crocker mix for these)3 - 4.25 oz Symphony bars with toffee bitsSpray Pam in the bottom of a 9x13" pan.Make up your favorite brownie batter andplace half of the batter in the bottom of the pan. Lay the Symphony bars on topof the batter and cover with the remaining batter. Bake 35-40 minutes at 350.Let cool. Dust with powdered sugar. Cut when cool.

Pumpkin Patch

I went with Allison and her Gateway class to the pumpkin patch at Maris Farms! It was super fun!

Chloe turns 1!

First Day of School for Miss Allison

Allison's first day of school went well! She attends Gateway in Auburn and has attended Gateway for the last 2 years.

She got to sit right next to her friend Kate. I was so grateful for both of them that they were able to sit together. Her friend Kate has been in a cast for several weeks and not is in a special splint.

Camp Coundown

SPRING BREAK

It's Spring Break this week! Monday we went to the Easter Bunny Brunch at the Supermall. After that Haley really wanted to go to Justice and so we did. We just window shopped. Next we went to Ikea! We got some organizational pieces for Haley and Amber's room. Today we took Chloe to get her shots at Value Pet Clinic. She doesn't' have to have any more until a year from now! A few weeks ago she got spayed and she has recovered nicely! Haley went to Activity Days tonight and came home so excited to tell me about her new leader, Sister Lemmon! They played fun games and Haley loved it!

Grattitude

We received a HUGE bag of clothing from the Chandler's and an adorable beaded lamp. Haley is in heaven trying on all of the clothing. She came downstairs in a beautiful Easter like dress. So very grateful for the generosity of friends.

A New Calling

Today I was FINALLY sustained as a nursery worker! I'm so excited! Several weeks ago Brother Brown extended the calling to me. I have been helping out in the junior nursery since the end of January. Today it was finally made official! I am working with children 18months - 2 years.

Bishop's Challenge

Today was our Ward Conference and the Bishop had to items he wanted to address. The first was Individual Prayers. He challenged each of us in the Green River ward to say daily individual prayers for the next month. If we so choose, we have been asked to report back and let him know if our relationship with the Savior has changed.

The other item was that he asked each of use to take the challenge to become Ward Missionaries. He even asked us to raise our hands to the square to sustain us as ward Missionaries. If we want to be set apart, we need to come to the Bishop's office.

NEVER take Money from Strangers except at the Donut shop

Haley was at an Activity day Stake activity this morning. I had some time with just Allison and Amber. So, I thought I would be a good Mom and take them to the Muffin Factory. As soon as we walked in the door they were handed three donut holes each. After they ordered their giant maple cinnamon rolls we had an interesing experience. They were happily eating their donuts and I noticed an older couple sitting behind us. The gentleman seemed to be watching us, not sure why. The girls were being really good, quiet, and were busy eating. He got up from his table and handed each of them $1 each. I told him that he didn't need to do that. He insisted and told them it was for their piggy banks. I can't even name the number of times we have been blessed for paying our tithing. It seems limitless. So, grateful for the generosity of a stranger.

Piano Lessons

A YW in our ward is teaching Haley and Amber piano lessons. They are loving it~!

I found some fun songs online for them to add to their lessons!

It is wonderful to hear them actually playing different song then the same old!
