St Patty's Day!

The girls had a fun St. Patty's Day! Allison had playgroup and Amber made a leprechaun trap and took it to school to catch the leprechaun.

For dinner we had green grapes, steamed cabbage and corned beef. The girls loved the corn beef, well, except for Allison! For dessert they had brownies with green mint frosting.

Girl's Night Out!

It was fun to celebrate the February birthday's!

Happy Birthday to Tana, Stacie, Jenn Brashear!

We met at a Mexican restaurant in Renton. Torero's was a perfect place for birthdays! The birthday guest gets a 25% discount! Fortunately Maria knew just what to order! Maria and I split the Pollo Asada.

It was a fun night enjoyed by all!

California Adventure - Day #4

We went to California Adventure today!

WE barley made the bus this morning at 10. We are so lucky!

First stop was Soarin' Over California! It was SOOOO cool! Everyone wanted to ride it again. The scenery was absolutely beautiful! We got fast passes to come back but didn't' end up suing them.

Then we went to Jumpin' Jelly fish. The girls loved it.

Next we went on the roller coaster and did that twice because Amber loved it so much.

Then we went to the Bug;s Life. It is tough to be a bug. The kids didn't like getting squirted with water and the 3-D effects. Amber and Allison were pretty scared and didn't understand a lot of it.

The lady bug ride we rode on either two or three times. The bumper cars we rode on twice.

We rode the SHORT caterpillar train. Wasn't that impressed.

Dave, Haley and my Dad did Tower of Terror and Haley loved it.

The toy story ride was really cool. Shooting guns at targets.

King Triton's carousel was fun.

For dinner we ate at Ariel's grotto. We forgot our dinner tickets and so we paid out of pocket. It was only $150! The girls loved getting their picture taken with the princesses.

Disneyland Day#2

WOW! I am so impressed with Disneyland! Amber LOVED Splash Mountain. She wanted to go on it more than once! So, Dave, Haley, Amber, Allison went a second time today. We went on the Small World boat ride again today. I think Small World is my favorite!
We also went on the Matterhorn Bobsleds. A little to jerky and dark for me. The Pirates of the Caribbean was a little disappointing. My parents took the girls on the teacups while Dave and I stood in line for the princesses. The girls LOVED Belle, Mulan, Jasmine, and Ariel.

We FINALLY saw Tinkerbell today and another yellow fairy.

We also stood in line to see Winnie the Pooh, and Tigger.

Mary Poppins was really impressive!

The girls didn't care for Mr. Toad Wild Ride yesterday. A little too scary.

We discovered the train to help us get around the park.

Late in the day we went to California Adventure for a quick dinner

Jen's Wedding in California!

Today was the big day for Jen and Joe! They tied the knot!

It was a beautiful day and the we are REALLY enjoying the California sunshine. I am ready to move here. I didn't realize how much I love the sun!

I don't think the day could have been more perfect. Allison and Amber were adorable flower girls and Haley was a Junior Bridesmaid.

The girls love wearing their fancy dresses but didn't really enjoy getting their hair done.

Tomorrow we are going to Disneyland!
